Prof. Jacqui Matthews, BVMS PhD FRSE FRSVS, RCVS is one of the world’s leading specialists in Veterinary Parasitology, and has researched parasitic worms for over 30 years.
She worked in academia for 30 years, where her group conducted studies on parasite epidemiology, diagnostics and vaccine development and published over 150 peer-reviewed papers and several patents.
Jacqui worked in research institutes and taught at three of the UK’s vet schools before becoming Director of Veterinary Science at Austin Davis Biologics, a UK-based biotech company that develops and delivers innovative equine diagnostics.
For many years, Jacqui has been involved in CPD initiatives and sharing the importance of sustainable parasite control across the sector.
