In this episode, Caroline speaks to Rose Burrows – UK-based Saddle Fitter.

In 2014, Rose sought help from a few saddle fitters on her quest to help an uncomfortable youngster that she had acquired from Ireland. Disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm to share knowledge with her as an owner desperate to learn, and feeling saddened by the rushed nature of their visits, Rose felt that the horses welfare was not always at the forefront of their minds and neither was there a willingness to educate the owners.

And so, Rose had found her new career path.

She has grown her saddle consulting business over the last 6 years. She has studied Biomechanics, Equine Conditioning Coaching, attended Sharon May Davis Dissections, travelled to Holland and France for Saddle Fitting training and is proud to have gained her Saddle Fitting Qualifications. Rose also completed the Saddle Fit 4 Life Equine Ergonomists course in 2017.
